Primary 1 – Science: What are Materials?

The science lesson is back. This time students were going to learn about materials. They had acquired knowledge about living things and non-living things before. Thus, they realized that many non-living things are made of certain materials. In the activity, students were asked to observe their surroundings within the school area to know whether things they had seen were made of plastic, glass, metal, fabric, wood, or rubber. Afterward, they shared their findings and played a game accordingly. Everyone chose the cards randomly and put them into the correct envelope. At the end of the lesson, their experience was confirmed, and the learning was concluded by having a summary so that the students had a thorough understanding. ***
