Primary 1 – Maths: My Colurful Bunny Numbers
“Addition within 20” on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. In this session, they applied their understanding of addition by creating a “Bunny Numbers” mini project.
To accomplish the mission, the students had to solve 20 addition questions by sticking the correct bunny stickers that matched the answers. Through this activity, they have learnt to solve addition problems in a fun way and interactive way.
They used a number line as a tool to help them answer the questions. At the end of the activity, they decorated their worksheets according to their own interest and creativity.
By following all the steps in creating this project, they were able to strengthen their understanding of the addition concept. This also helped improve their problem-solving skills.
Those knowledge and skill need to be stimulated. In the future, students can develop stronger cognitive abilities, logical and mathematical thinking skills, as well as enhance students’ problem-solving abilities and creativity.
