Primary 1 – Kids Fest: Making Toys
P1 Kids Fest is ongoing now. Students learnt interesting fact of how people in the past played without gadget. They were introduced to some traditional toys, such as: yoyo, bekelan, dakon, parachute, bongkar pasang, paper boat and marbles.
Teacher also shared that they could make their own toys from simple materials around them. Then, students were challenged to make paper boat and parachute based on the instructions given. At the end of the session, they tested their toys. They successfully made their own toys and played the toys happily. Wow, learning can be so fun. ***
