Primary 1 – English: Rhyming Words Book Project
In the last unit on traditional rhymes, Primary 1 students were asked to do a simple project. In the project, they applied what they had learned about rhymes and rhyming words in the form of a book. On the first page, the students matched the words that rhymed. Then, on the second page, they had to pay attention to the words and match them with the pictures given.
Then the students had to complete a rhyme in a sentence with the correct rhyming words. For the last page, the students had to deduce what rhyming words are. At the end of the project, the students arranged all the pages in the book and made the book cover. The given task trained the students to apply their understanding and follow the instructions well. ***
