Primary 1 – English: Recount
In English class, P1 students had a chance to share their unforgettable moments. Through the photographs, they told their experience during holidays, the first day of school, joining a competition, or celebrating a birthday. As the stimulation, the teacher-led students to make a mind map so that they could explain what happened in the photograph.
From the mind map, students tried to build their own sentences. In the end, students recounted their unforgettable experiences well. By having this activity, the students were trained to think systematically so that they could share their ideas well. ***
