Primary 1 – English: Mini Play Performance
In the unit that discusses Traditional Tales, P1 students practiced reading stories independently. From the story, they learned about the characters and the plot of the story. After exploring some stories, they were divided into groups and asked to play a performance.
They started by reading the script together in groups, understanding the sequence, and then making the masks for the performance. In the next meeting, they performed in front of their friends. By doing so, students also learned to work in groups so their communication skills would improve as well. Moreover, they also learned to respect others by paying attention to their friends when they performed. Everybody tried to perform well and become a good audience. Good job, kiddos! ***
