Primary 1 – After FE Agenda: Our Kids Fest Day 1
Celebrating our learning closer to the end of Semester 1 is just so wonderful. We have done such a great work and now we deserve to enjoy blissful days with friends at school to celebrate the learning.
We call it Kids Fest. Kids Fest is a learning celebration for Primary 1 students after finishing the learning journey ended with Final Examination. This time, we have a theme entitled: Proud to be Indonesian. In Kids Fest, the students will be introduced to some activities like traditional games, toys, foods, songs, dancing as well as knowing further about Batik pattern, natural art work and puppet.
Today was their first time playing a traditional game using Egrang, a kind of walking device made of coconut shells. They struggled to manage their balance to move the balls from one point to another as many as they can to win the game. Next, they played the jump rope as the next traditional game. They seemed to be so patience waiting their turn since they did it one by one.
As the final activity, Primary 1 students decorated the classroom with their own masterpiece to boost the atmosphere of Kids Fest. They drew some of the pictures about series of event in Kids Fest. Hopefully, by joining Kids Fest, students will experience insightful creativities, respecting diversity and strengthening the unity. Let’s wait for any other updates from us. ***
