Nursery – Science: Exploring the trees
Nursery students recently embarked on an exciting tree walk, where they were encouraged to explore and satisfy their curiosity about trees. Using their senses, they carefully observed different parts of the trees, including the trunk, leaves, roots, and flowers. They even got to explore the textures of tree bark and examine various types of leaves up close.
Afterward, the students worked together to create their own tree models by assembling the different parts they had observed. This hands-on activity allowed them to build their understanding through personal experiences, making the learning both engaging and memorable. Though the activity seemed simple, it was incredibly meaningful in fostering their connection with nature and deepening their knowledge of the world around them.***
