Nursery – Practical Life: Awareness of Own and Others Safety

During the activity of practical life, nursery students practiced to open and close the door properly. In opening and closing the door, after be given example, by taking turn students were given chance to practice the way to do it. They were being attentive and showed effort to open and close the door properly.

As the continuant, students were then taken to play alongside their peers at playground. They were enthusiastically showing their gross motoric skill by walking on a balancing beam, climbing up the stairs, crawling in the tunnel and so forth. Not forget to mention, they were also depicting their sensorial aspect by exploring the grassy ground on bare foot

In sum, both activities were aimed to provide learning experience to enhance students’ character of being independent in doing daily activity and at the same time raising the awareness of own safety or others.
