Nursery: My Family and Me
After joining the entry point, nursery students had a simple discussion about family. They were excited to show their family picture and mention their family member. By doing this activity, they also learned new vocabulary about family members. As well as exploring family, the students are also encouraged to consider how they have changed since they were babies.
Then, they had an opportunity to look after a baby doll, to experience the types of care needed for a newborn baby, and to demonstrate kindness and empathy. ***
