Nursery – Maths: Sorting and Classifying Shapes
Grouping objects by color, size or shape is a developmental milestone for cognition – which is learning, thinking, and problem solving. On Maths subject in the topic of sorting and matching shapes, Nursery students observed various leaves which have geometric shapes such as stars, hearts, circles, and others. Their were curious and excited to find the leaves around the classroom and playground, which has various geometric shapes. By sorting and matching shapes the students will develop visual perceptual skills, focus and memory skills as well as their improve the problem-solving skill.
