Nursery – Exit Point: Going Places

Be Alert to Be Safe and Secure! As the exciting Exit Point for our Going Places theme, the students brought their bicycles to school for a fun and meaningful road-safety experience. The day began with a cheerful warm-up session, where the students stretched their muscles together, preparing their bodies and boosting their enthusiasm before riding.

Before hopping onto their bikes, the children revisited what they had learned throughout the unit: identifying traffic signs, understanding simple road regulations, and recognizing the importance of following rules while on the road. With bright eyes and eager minds, they were ready to put their knowledge into action.

During the bike-riding activity, every student participated actively. It wasn’t just about learning to ride it was about practicing real-life skills. The children learned to manage their emotions when they struggled to pedal uphill or faced small challenges, and they practiced patience when waiting for a friend to cross the road. These moments taught them not only safety, but also self-regulation and empathy. ***
