Nursery – Entry Point: Planning a surprise party

Welcoming new theme, Nursery students engaged in a fun project; planning a surprise party!. The activity began with a group discussion, where the students shared ideas about what they would need for the party. This brainstorming session encouraged communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. After they finished planning, the students worked together to make decorations and wrap the gifts. They were excited to take on different jobs and helped each other along the way.

This entry point activity effectively prepared the students to engage more deeply with the theme. By participating in a hands-on, collaborative experience, they became curious and enthusiastic about what they would learn next. More importantly, the experience taught the students to care about others. By making something special, they showed empathy, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

In addition, the activity was a fun way to learn about celebrations. It helped students get ready to learn more about cultures, traditions, and how people show joy and appreciation. ***
