Nursery – Entry Point: “Magic Carpet Adventure”
To begin our “Going Places” theme, Nursery students took part in a fun imagination journey on a Magic Carpet Adventures. They imagined flying high up in the sky, travelled over different places, such as mountains, oceans, forests, and finally reached a busy city. When the flying carpet lands in the city, students found many cars moving around. Then they pretended to hop into different cars and drive around the city, exploring and discovering what they can see along the way.
This activity helped the student learned in many fun ways. As they imagined flying and exploring new places, they used their creativity and imagination. They also learned new words about nature, transportation, and the world around them. Playing together encouraged them to share, take turns, and talk with their friends. The movements, such as pretending to fly, drive, and explore helped students to strengthen their bodies and coordination. Most of all, the activity made them curious and excited to learn about different places and means of transportation. ***
