Nursery – English: Superhero Vehicle Trails
Having further exploration toward real-life heroes, students in nursery level were introduced to the vehicles and the features. They got to be introduced that a fire engine have ladder and water hose, an ambulance carry medical equipment, a police car may carry police’s equipment such as traffic signs. Yet, all those vehicles share the similarity of having wheels and siren!
To connect the knowledge to fine motoric and linguistic aspect, students then taken to review alphabets and writing them by making trail of the superhero vehicles wheels. This exploration allows students to highlight the correct steps to write alphabets in a fun and challenging way.
Having the activities done in turn also build student’s discipline and social skill of taking turn and respecting their friends’ turn by not snatching turn. All in all, the exploration of real-life superhero vehicles was beneficial for developing students’ knowledge and skill in many ways.
