Nursery – English: Building Letters Brigde
During this activity, Nursery students revisited the story Three Billy Goats Gruff. Using the story as a guide, students learned about two different environments: dry land and grassland. Through simple discussions and pictures, they talked about what makes each area different.
To help them understand better, the students worked together in a fun hands-on activity. They helped the Three Billy Goats cross the river by building a bridge that connects the dry land and grassland. While making the bridge, the children also practiced letter recognition. Each student colored one letter, and then all the letters were put together in the correct order to create the bridge.
This activity helped students build their language skills through storytelling and letter recognition. It also strengthened their fine motor skills as they colored and built the bridge. By arranging the letters, the children practiced thinking skills like ordering and problem-solving. Most importantly, the activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and social interaction, while helping students learn about dry land and grassland in a fun and meaningful way.
