Nursery – Arts: Land Transportation (Bus)

Nursery students learned about land transportation, which includes vehicles that move on roads such as cars, buses, motorcycles, etc. These vehicles help people travel from one place to another and are commonly seen in our daily surroundings. Students were introduced to the different shapes, colors, and functions of these land vehicles to help them recognize them in real life.

After the introduction, students continued with a fun bus art project. In this activity, students used paintbrushes to paint the main shape of the bus. They then practiced their fine motor skills by snipping paper to make the bus windows. After preparing all the parts, students assembled and pasted the pieces together to form a complete bus.

This activity gives several simple benefits for Nursery students. It helps them practice fine motor skills through painting, cutting, and pasting. It also improves their hand–eye coordination as they place each part of the car. The project encourages creativity, helps them learn about land transportation, and builds their confidence as they finish their own artwork. ***
