Nursery – Art: The Colourful Tree
In expressing their knowledge about trees, Nursery students enthusiastically engaged in a creative tree craft activity. They particularly enjoyed the sensory experience of palm printing to create the leaves and branches, feeling the textures of the paint as they pressed their hands onto the paper. Alongside the sensory fun, the activity fostered teamwork as the students shared materials and took turns, collaborating in groups to bring their tree craft to life.
Not only did this activity reinforce their understanding of trees, but it also nurtured important social skills, such as cooperation and patience. Craft-making is always fun, but making it together as a group made the experience even more enjoyable and meaningful for the young learners.
