EY2 – New York: Family Members Photo
During the theme “This is Me,” students learned family members’ vocabulary in Mandarin through pictures and words. EY2 New York students were asked to bring their family photos for this activity. Together with Czika Laoshi, the students copied the words of family members such as baba, mama, didi, meimei, jie jie, gege, and so forth. Next, they were asked to paste the words on the photo they brought to school. The students succeed in showing their skill in copying words and their mastery of the vocabulary of a family member in Mandarin. ***
