Early Years Program – Reading Program: BRT Phase 3
As a celebration of their growing love for books, the EY students participated in a special Book Reference Time (BRT) session with the reading coaches at Time Square, EYP Building. Each student brought their chosen book, proudly showcasing their reading preferences and deepening their personal connection with literature. Before this, they had already engaged in enriching reading stimulation activities in class, followed by storytelling and role play with younger levels, which helped build both their confidence and comprehension.
In this third phase of BRT, the students confidently shared their stories with the reading coaches, taking the lead in expressing their thoughts, discussing characters, and independently exploring the themes of their books.
At this stage, the students not only strengthened their verbal communication and storytelling skills but also nurtured a love for literature that is both personal and collective. This BRT experience gave them the freedom to express their comprehension with enthusiasm, while also fostering the confidence to communicate clearly and passionately. ***
