Early Years Program: Parents-Teachers Meeting Semester 2 2024-2025
Today, January 8, 2025, parents of Toddler and EY2 students attended the Semester 2 PTM (Parents-Teachers Meeting). This event served as an important platform for parents to gain insights into the school’s agenda and programs for the upcoming semester. By participating in this meeting, parents had the opportunity to stay informed and align their support with the school’s educational goals for their children.
During the meeting, teachers provided a detailed overview of students’ progress and development achieved during Semester 1. This included a discussion on the learning processes and milestones reached by the students, offering parents a clearer picture of their child’s individual achievements and areas for growth. The information presented was based on observations, assessments, and evidence collected throughout the semester.
In addition to reviewing the past semester, parents were equipped with practical strategies, tips, and methods to assist their children at home. These included ways to strengthen concepts, knowledge, skills, and behaviours that are crucial for their continued development in Semester 2. The strategies shared focused on fostering a balanced approach to learning that emphasizes academic growth, personal skills, and emotional well-being.
The participation of parents in this meeting is essential, as it ensures they are well-informed about their child’s progress and understand how to extend the school’s efforts at home. Furthermore, the meeting also highlighted the importance of collaboration between parents and the school in fostering healthy relationships and maintaining open communication. By working together, parents and teachers can create a nurturing and supportive environment that allows students to thrive.
The Semester 2 Parents-Teachers Meeting reflects the shared commitment of the school and parents to support each student’s holistic development, laying a strong foundation for continued success.
