Early Years Program: Eid Al Fitr Assembly
EYP students held an Eid al-Fitr assembly to show respect for friends who celebrate this special occasion. They went o school by wearing white clothes to represent purity. During the assembly, the students learned about Eid traditions, such as spending time with family, enjoying special meals, and giving to those in need.
The students were introduced to important values of Eid, including kindness, sharing, and caring for others. Through simple activities and discussions, they began to understand how these values can be practised in their daily lives at school and at home.
They also learned to be brave in saying sorry and forgiving others. With guidance from their teachers, the children practised how to apologise and accept apologies in a sincere way. This helped them build positive relationships and understand the importance of making peace with one another.
At the end of the assembly, the students greeted each other by shaking hands and giving warm wishes to those celebrating Eid. It was a joyful moment that showed respect, friendship, and togetherness among all the students.
