Early Years 2 – Science: Blast the rocket off

EY2 students were excited about exploring rockets through a simple experiment. They learned that hot gases rushed out of the bottom of the missile with tremendous force that pushed the rocket to outer space. In this activity, students learned how the rocket could blast off. Students were invited to make and blast their rockets off using a straw. This activity triggered students’ curiosity about how the rocket could blast off. They also learned to have resilience upon the result of their experiment by giving it another try to blast their rocket off when they failed on their first try. ***
