Early Years 2 – Science : Blast the rocket off
EY2 students were excited in exploring rocket through simple experiment. They learned that hot gases rushed out of the bottom of the rocket with tremendous force that pushed the rocket all the way to the outer space. In this activity, students learned how the rocket can blast off in a simple way.
They were invited to make their own rocket then blast it off using straw. This activity triggered students’ curiosity about how the rocket can blast off. They also learned to have resilience upon the result of their experiment by giving it another try to blast their rocket off when they failed in their first try.
