Early Year 2: Road Safety, An Exit Point Activity
Learning the road safety has become an important issue that needs to be introduced at early ages. It can help the children to know the rules of the road which can lead them to choose safe decisions when in a traffic environment. Hence, EY2 level held an outdoor learning activity at DISHUB Surakarta to reinforce the students’ knowledge and skill about road signs, road safety as well as safety riding. The students were very enthusiastic about taking part in the practical activity of crossing the road namely Praktik ZOSS (Zona Aman Sekolah), and having chances to ride some vehicles safely and following the traffic sign. They were able to develop their thoughtfulness and ethical upon traffic rules and road safety in a fun and meaningful ways. ***
