Our Early Years 2 learners combined music, movement, and English literacy in a high-energy Musical Chairs Vocabulary Challenge!
The birthday celebration theme came to life as students discovered thematic words—from party cakes and balloons to decorations, drinks, and games—through engaging storytelling. The real excitement began on the dance floor! When the music stopped, eager learners picked up English sight word cards and matched them directly to the corresponding party pictures, bridging written words with their real-world meanings in a flash.
By pairing active play with literacy practice, EY2 strengthened thematic vocabulary recognition, active listening, turn-taking, and confidence in using English!
