Early Year 2 Milan – Exit Point The World Around Us : Shop ’till You Drop

EY2 students had an exit point to celebrate the unit of learning, “The World Around Us,” that they have learned for three weeks. The students had chances to express what they had learned during the theme by connecting their prior knowledge and the new knowledge they got from this theme. At this exit point, the students had to shop based on the shopping list mentioned by the teacher.
In a short time, around 10-15 seconds, they had to shop for everything on the list. It was a fun yet meaningful activity. They learned to listen carefully to the instruction and needed to maintain their focus to follow them exactly as instructed. The students also learned to be patient by waiting for their turn to shop and support their friends. By doing it, they also had a chance to develop the respect area as part of their personal goals.***
