Early Year 2 Milan – Arts & Maths : The Three Billy Goats Gruff Story Board

EY2 students started to learn the new unit of learning, “Once Upon a Time,” and were exposed to legendary stories, one of which was “The Three Billy Goats Gruff.” The story told the students to solve problems intelligently.
In the exploring activity, the students made the storyboard by drawing the dry land, river, and grassland, as mentioned in the story, and added the bridge to help the goats cross the river. The Arts lesson collaborated with the Math lesson, where the students had to measure the length of the bridge they made with paper clips as the non-standard units and compare it with their friend’s bridges to find out which bridge was the longest or the shortest.
The students looked enthusiastic when they brought the storyboard home because they wanted to immediately tell the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff to their parents at home. ***
