Early Year 2 – Math: Subtraction Binoculars
EY2 students are learning about the weather and the various sights we can see in different weather conditions. While learning mathematics, namely the concept of subtraction, children were invited to make binoculars and colored them with a color code according to the subtraction results they calculated. They were enthusiastic pretending to see the view with their binoculars.
Making math fun makes students more likely to develop an interest in the subject and perform better. That was also what EY2 students experienced in this learning activity. ***
