Early Year 2 – Math: Let’s Be Brave
EY2 students learned that being brave is part of a healthy mindset which allows us to take chances and experience new things. The students showed their bravery and courage when they were invited to put their hands in a paper bag and guess what was inside.
The activity gave a fun learning to the students since they were not given a clue as to what was in the paper bag so they had to rely on their sense of touch. They felt proud because they had dared to accept this challenge. They were very happy when their guess about the contents of the paper bag turned out to be correct.
After that, they also had the opportunity to count the objects and add them up. The simple activity has left a lasting impression on the students and reminded them that they can be brave. ***
