Early Year 2 – Learning Project: My Shop
Design thinking is simply introduced to the children through learning project activities. This time, the EY2 level chose My Shop as their learning project activity in Semester 1. On the first day they were asked to take steps to empathise by going through the Look, Listen and Learn process and asking lots of questions. They also worked in groups to take pictures of different shops around them and the goods they sell. Ultimately, the aim of this project is to train children to think coherently like designers. ***
