Early Year 2 – Entry Point: Let’s Play Outside
As the entry point of the new theme, EY2 students were given a chance to explore the outdoor surroundings. They were so happy running here and there catching the bubbles and putting their hands up in the air. Children have a natural urge to learn more about the world around them and this drives children as they begin to learn about and understand their world and the objects, people, and places within it.
Children need space to examine, explore and experiment and the outdoors offers a provoking space that supports children’s involvement, development, and learning. Being outside in a larger space makes way for a whole different way of playing and learning. ***
