Early Year 2 – Arts: The Skeleton
EY2 students were excited about making the skeleton art as it is one of the body parts they learned in the “Healthy Habits” theme. They also learned some fun facts about the bones. They store minerals (calcium and phosphorous) and protect our brain, heart, and other organs from injury.
They were challenged to make their skeleton art by cutting, arranging, and pasting cotton buds as human bones. Students could upskill their fine motor aspect by cutting and assembling the arts. They also learned to develop their independence, creativity, and perseverance in arranging the cotton buds as bones with their idea. ***
