Early Year 1 – Sports: Obstacle Course

EY1 students enjoyed an exciting sports activity at the multifunction court while becoming more familiar with the primary school environment. Students participated in a variety of movement challenges that encouraged them to run, jump, and aim and roll a ball through obstacles. They enthusiastically completed each challenge, took turns, and cheered on their friends along the way.

As they explored the area, students gained confidence in navigating a new environment while developing their gross motor skills. The activities helped strengthen their balance, coordination, agility, hand-eye coordination, and body control through active play.

This fun experience supported students’ physical development, confidence, perseverance, and readiness as they become more familiar with the primary school setting.
