Early Year 1 Milan – Arts Once Upon a Time : Making a Hare
The students of EY1 Milan were seen busy making art, the Hare, one of the characters in the story “The Tortoise and the Hare.” They drew pictures of hares and colored them according to their creations. They gained benefits from the drawing activity, such as strengthening the small muscles in their hands and fingers and enabling them to draw connections between what they see and do. The students also cut out tree shapes and made paper collages. While making the arts, these children learned to be responsible in completing their tasks diligently. When they saw the results of their work, they built their self-esteem. They felt happy and satisfied with what they had made. ***
