Early Year 1 – Maths: Playing with the senses!
EY1 students embarked on a sensory adventure! They started by exploring baby toys like busy boards, comparing them to the toys they play with now, and observing how their playthings have evolved as they’ve grown.
The excitement continued with a sensory path challenge! Blindfolded, the students relied on their other senses to navigate the path, enhancing their sense of touch and spatial awareness. To wrap up the day, they sharpened their observation skills by spotting differences between two pictures. These hands-on activities not only brought joy but also helped the students develop important sensory and cognitive skills. ***
