Early Year 1 – Maths: Number Blocks
Our Early Years 1 mathematicians jumped into team-based math fun with a hands-on numbered wooden block challenge!
Working in small groups, young learners collaborated to recognize number symbols and line them up in the correct numerical order. As they handled the blocks, students identified numbers, debated placements, and applied prior knowledge to solve sequence puzzles together. The classroom buzzed with excitement as teams shared ideas and guided each other to mission success!
By blending number recognition with cooperative play, EY1 sharpened their math skills while building vital teamwork, problem-solving, and communication habits!
