Early Year 1 – Maths & English: Moving Water
The EY1 students learned about where rainwater goes after it falls on the earth. They were so excited to explore how rainwater flows through gutters before it hits the ground and how mud is formed after rainfall.
The students were also allowed to link their learning to their maths and English lessons by being asked to compare and contrast the volume of water in the cup and to recognize vocabulary cards hidden in the mud. This activity aims to develop the student’s cognitive, sensory, and literacy skills. ***
