Early Year 1 – Learning Project – My Travel Camera Day 5: LAUNCH
EY1 students proudly launched their My Travel Camera project by first presenting their creations to their classmates. They shared their cameras, the stories on their film strips, and how they made each part, building confidence before a bigger audience.
Next, EY2 friends visited the exhibition, with EY1 students acting as little guides. Using simple prompts, they introduced their work by saying things like, “This is my travel camera,” “I went to the Arctic,” or “I took a picture of my family,” and explained how they made the lens using a paper cup.
After the gallery walk, students reflected on their experience by answering questions such as how they felt, what they enjoyed most, and what they learned. Through this activity, they gained confidence in presenting their work, improved communication skills, and developed creativity, observation, and storytelling abilities. ***
