Early Year 1 – Exit Point: Vet Visit: Animal Rescuers Unite

EY1 students concluded their journey as Young Animal Rescuers with an unforgettable experience. Today, they received a special visit from Dr. Dewi, a veterinarian who shared valuable knowledge about pet care and the importance of animal health.

The visit began with an informative session led by Dr. Dewi. The students listened attentively as she explained the basics of keeping animals healthy and happy. They were enthusiastic and actively asked curious questions, such as how to feed animals properly and what basic needs animals have.

After the talk, the students had the chance to interact directly with a variety of animals, including playful puppies, gentle kittens, and fish. Under Dr. Dewi’s guidance, they carefully touched and observed the animals while discussing how to care for them. This hands-on experience helped students understand that every animal requires attention, love, and proper care.

The session continued with role-playing activities, where students practiced being animal rescuers themselves. With Dr. Dewi’s help, they learned the responsibilities of providing food, shelter, and cleanliness for animals. Through this role-play, they gained a deeper understanding of empathy, responsibility, and compassion for living creatures.

This special visit not only provided students with new knowledge but also offered real-life experiences that enhanced their understanding of animal care. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Dewi for inspiring our Young Animal Rescuers in EY1 and making this journey meaningful and memorable! ***
