Early Year 1 – Exit Point: Playing, Creating, and Celebrating
Our Early Years 1 learners wrapped up five incredible weeks of the “Let’s Play” unit with an action-packed, laughter-filled Exit Point celebration!
The young creators kicked off the day engineering custom paper windmills—carefully cutting, folding, and assembling their creations before testing their spin power! The adventure continued with a deep dive into traditional Indonesian play, where students mastered balance and coordination with othok-othok, bamboo spinning tops, jump ropes, bakiak, and engklek.
By pairing creative craft-making with traditional movement games, EY1 built fine motor precision, physical coordination, turn-taking, perseverance, and strong friendships through the power of play!
