Early Year 1 – Entry Point: Detective Dinosaur
Students at the EY1 level learned a new theme entitled Dinosaur Detective by following the entry point activity. In this activity, students were introduced to the concept of past life where dinosaurs lived and introduced to the theory about what made the dinosaurs extinct.
Moreover, they were invited to have a role-play of finding the toy dinosaur’s egg hidden in the playground. After the egg was found, students were invited to discuss all the dinosaurs like names, physical characteristics, and abilities. In addition, students also learned about several thematic vocabularies related to the physical characteristics of dinosaurs such as spikes, horns, tails, flippers, tail, and wings through an interactive game. ***
