Early Year 1 – English: Penguin Ball
In the English lesson, EY1 students are currently learning about one of the arctic animals, penguins. The students showed their curiosity to find out about their body features, and how they like to huddle each other and slide on the ice on their bellies.
To connect the knowledge, the students were invited to work in pairs to play penguin balls. The students were asked to choose a penguin ball with a letter, roll the ball on the slide, and adjust the cup so that the ball could get into the aimed cup. This activity helps students to deepen letter recognition as well as hand-eye coordination. ***
