Told across bilingual Bahasa Indonesia and English lessons, the suspenseful story hooked young readers instantly as they waited to see if the meerkat babies would stay safe from the snake. To bring the adventure to life, students teamed up to sequence story illustration cards and stepped up to the front of the classroom to retell the tale in confident, simple English. The experience wrapped up with a powerful, reflective discussion on honesty, trust, and the real impact of our choices.
