Early Year 1 – English: Making A Rocketship
Early Year 1 students were excited about using a used bottle to create their rocket ship. Students were asked to follow instructions such as drawing, cutting, folding, wrapping, and pasting. This activity allows the students to improve their motor skills and promote the idea of reusing something. They also had a chance to practice their communication skill by mentioning parts of the rocket based on the knowledge that they have got. Last but not least, students were also allowed to expand the activity by playing the rocket with their peers. ***
