Early Year 1 – English: Guessing Game
The EY1 students learned about animals that live in the desert. They were first introduced to the conditions of the desert and the animals that live there through the video, song, flashcards, and sight words. They were also led in a simple discussion about sand dunes and sand storms, which can easily happen in the desert.
Finally, they took part in a guessing game to review the animals they had learned about. They blew the straw onto the sand dunes to see the animal picture and name it correctly. ***
