Early Year 1 – English: Dinosaur’s Footprint

As Dinosaur Detective, the students were encouraged to investigate dinosaur’s characteristics which has a big body. In this lesson, the students were introduced to the shape of tyrannosaurus Rex’s footprint. The students were also asked to compare the size or shape of their footprint to the tyrannosaurus rex’ footprint.

In addition, the students were also invited to learn about some vocabulary like dinosaurs, tails, wings, horns, flipper, and spikes by play-pretending to be tyrannosaurus rex which has big legs or footprints. This activity aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of the vocabulary. ***
