Early Year 1 – Arts: My Birthday Cake
Early Years 1 students popped into the world of birthday celebrations to share personal memories and create vibrant artwork!
During class discussions, young learners recalled their favorite party elements—from cakes, candles, and colorful balloons to presents, family, and friends. To bring their ideas to life, EY1 created their own birthday cake crafts by sponge-painting bases, coloring details with crayons, and practicing their cutting skills. Students then proudly displayed their creations around the school to spread cheerful, festive energy!
By blending personal storytelling with hands-on art, EY1 boosted their recall abilities, fine motor skills, and pride in contributing to their school community!
