Early Year 1 – Arts: Making a dinosasur

After learning about the different kinds of dinosaurs and their unique characteristics, the EY 1 students had the opportunity to create their own dinosaurs. This activity allowed them to apply what they had learned while encouraging creativity and hands-on exploration.

First, the students folded the paper to form the body of the dinosaur and pasted it onto the base paper. Next, they drew the neck, head, and tail to complete the dinosaur’s shape. After that, they colored the pictures, making their dinosaurs bright and lively.

The students were very excited to see their creations come together. They proudly showed their finished dinosaurs to their friends and teachers, filling the classroom with joy and enthusiasm.

Overall, the activity supported the students’ cognitive, motor, and social development, making the learning experience both enjoyable and engaging for the EY 1 students.
