Early Year 1 – Arts: Designing My Dream Pyjamas
As part of the “All About Me” theme, Early Year 1 students took their learning about healthy sleep habits to the next level by designing their very own pyjamas!
Building on last week’s pretend bedtime routine, the children applied their knowledge of shapes, patterns, and colors to turn simple pyjama templates into colorful creations:
- Creative Expression: Children chose their own colors and patterns, building confidence and fine motor skills as they drew, colored, and cut out their designs.
- Personal Touch: Each child added their own photo to their completed outfit, creating a personalized masterpiece.
Their custom pyjamas are now proudly displayed outside the classroom, giving the young artists a wonderful sense of pride and accomplishment.
