Early Year 1 – Arts: Creating a portrait
After showing their confidence by sharing their names and identities, EY1 students continued their learning journey by exploring individual differences. They learned to appreciate these differences by comparing their features with those of others. Following this, they had the opportunity to express their creativity through an activity where they decorated frames for their self-portraits. This process helped them recognize that everyone is unique and that these differences make each person special and valuable. By creating their personalized frames, the students could take pride in their individuality and develop a greater appreciation for the uniqueness of their peers. ***
